Your "best" entry is one where you just quote an entry by someone else? Maybe I'm just a glue snorting retard, in fact there's no maybe about it I AM a glue-snorting retard, but that seems pretty unlikely and not even all that funny as a sarcastic joke.

Note that I said *The* best entry, not *MY* best entry.

That'd make sense if you'd linked directly to Devon's entry. On the other hand you linked to your own entry which links to Devon's entry but is, semantically, still the entry you're refering to as the best.

So my new question is...why is an entry where SOMEONE quotes something from another person's entry the best entry ever?

Uh...because I said so. In the Foucaultian world I live in, my internal realities alone create third person objective realities. Intersubjective and interobjective realities (including semantics) are cultural creations used by unreconstructed white hetero-crypto-facists to further their phallologicoeurocentric hegemony.

If you deconstruct the entry, you'll note that the pride I feel towards my entry stands in stark contrast to the shame (mentioned in Devon's entry) that one might feel for quoting another person, if I were to feel shame for parsing out only the portion I liked. Note that that statement stands in stark contrast to my assertion in the prior paragraph about interobjective realities being an epiphenomen of an interior reality. If I were to be consistent, the cultural stream that is both not real and simultaneously the primary determinant of my internal realities would not contribute shame, Devon's entry, and my reaction to it (which is, of course, a qualia resultant from and seperate from, the observation of said percept).

Right. Well all those arguments are really...obscure and I guess somewhat clever, but I admit it's somewhat cute when you make up long explanations for what appears to be a combination of insecurity and a slight mistake. Of course this line of argument also makes you look somewhat arrogant since you are putting out the BEST entries available and yet besides two from Devon they all belong to you. Apparently the only journal worth reading is yours.

Anyway I was just commenting on the fact that you said "If you read only TWO entries in this lifetime read these two" and one of them was a blurb for yet another entry. If it doesn't matter to you, it doesn't matter to you. Now you'll excuse me while I go throw up again.

Allo. I don't usually add people back this quickly, but I really enjoyed my scan of your journal. You might want to scan [livejournal.com profile] ubergeeken, a side journal of mine I on and off remember to use. Also check out [livejournal.com profile] heartmath_feed.

Wow, what'd you do to piss them off?

I'm at work so I can't go through these links now...but I'm looking forward to it later. It's about time you showed up in my journal.

I have several posts in my journal from this weekend...but they're temporarily hidden.

M is out of town and I've been busy in the house. I wrote posts to document what I did, but kept them "private" for now. Whenever she calls I tell her I've just been surfing for porn, or taking naps, or just slacking off in general. (Not that hard for her to believe)

Hopefully she'll be happy with the progress I made while she was gone.

This is entirely off subject of your post but I've been meaning to ask...

What is your main user icon of? Is that a CT of subdural hemorrhage?

It's an xray of a 9 year old girl who had a hemispherectomy. It's actually a known good treatment for particular types of seizure disorders, particularly Rasmussens (sp?) syndrome. The notable thing about this girl is that she was the first person with a hemispherectomy who went on to learn multiple languages (3 at the time of the xray). It was an interesting case study about the ability of the brain to remap functional areas.

Hope all is well,
