Dumbest Firefox bug ever

My FireFox has just started a minor but irritating behavior. Every time I open a new window with Ctrl-N, it takes all of the FF windows open on my desktop and re-arranges them in a stack with the oldest windows at the bottom. The problem with this is that it changes the Alt-Tab order of the windows. If I have a window that I'm doing multiple "Open this link in new window"'s from, the page I'm opening from doesn't stay as the second from the top - it's moved further and further back in the stack as new windows are open. Reinstalling didn't help. The start of this issue doesn't coincide with any change in the software, and Google doesn't seem to help (or I can't find the right combination of words to search on).

Any advice?

Switch to Chrome. :)

Seriously though, I've been loving it. I switched a couple months ago and haven't looked back. I believe it's even faster than FF.

Yeah, I did for a while, but until there's a noscripts plugin, it's just going to be way too insecure for me to be comfortable with.

I had held off for awhile also because some of my favourite FF extensions weren't ported over to Chrome yet, but there's so much extension development ongoing for Chrome now that the landscape changes pretty fast for that browser. Only a couple months after initially investigating Chrome, everything I wanted was there.

Now if I could just get Gmail to support other default fonts than the 6 they have, I'd be happy. I've fallen in love with Calibri -- admittedly, a Microshaft invention -- but it's not supported in Gmail.
